Moonrise Kingdom is the sweet story of young, young love, childhood adventures, and the attempt to escape life even at a young age. If you can relate to life just seeming hard for no real reason at all, or maybe for all the reasons in the world, then this movie will help you know you're not alone. It's also a reason to count the blessings of lacy knee-highs, leather satchels, and the overall grand design of the great outdoors.
May we all seize summer with such reckless abandon.
